BADEN'S MISSION: Make the World's Best Football BADEN'S

GAMEPLAN: Be as good or better than the best in each of the 31 aspects of football design.

Here are Seven Highlights:

1. State-of-the-Art Cover Premium Grade Horween Leather: Whatever your need from a game football, Baden has the model that is ideal for you. For those seeking the performance of traditional leather, the Perfection DI(F7000L) features the optimum part of the cowhide the area around the spine and shoulders. The remaining portion of the hide is then applied to Badens Deuce model F7000D, which features all of the improved design elements of the Perfection model at a lower price.

Advanced Microfiber: When durability is of greatest concern and performance cannot be compromised, the Perfection F700M is in a category by itself. Whereas composite footballs shed water much like a raincoat and are therefore slick like a raincoat when moist or wet, the F700M features Badens breathable Moisture Management System that performs vastly superior to composite footballs in both controlled water tests and in game competition. Play a game in a monsoon, the next day your Perfection F700M is literally like new.

2. Spiral Zone Radius Pure tight spiralsThey dont just look good; they are proven to be more aerodynamic in flight. Can the proper shape in a football make throwing spirals easier? YES! By applying the proper radius at the end of the football, Badens Spiral Zone is created as the forces applied by the quarterbacks index and middle fingers are directed more to the center of the ball as opposed to the end of the ball. A tighter spiral is the result. The best part is that while Badens design team is immersed in the science of a tight spiral, your quarterback simply throws naturally and the likely result is a beautiful and aerodynamically efficient spiral.

3. QB Seam Why is it easier to ride a bicycle at 20 mph than at 2 mph? Its due to a physics law called Conservation of Angular Momentum. This same law applies to a football in flight: Wind-tunnel tests reveal that the faster the football rotates, the lower the air drag. Lower drag means your quarterback can throw that Out route with greater velocity, or that Go route further. How can a footballs design lead to higher spin rate? The Baden Perfection is constructed with rigid seams so that a quarterbacks middle and index fingers which are not placed on the laces in the standard throwing grip have a slight trigger edge from which to apply greater torque and achieve faster-rotating spirals.

4. Grip-Tech Lace If the lace of a football is too prominent, it interferes with the natural release of the ball off the fingertips. If the balls lace is too minimal, it does not provide an anchor for the ring finger (and the small finger if so applied). The Baden lace has been designed with precisely the optimal thickness, height and spacing. Additionally, as competitors use slick composite material for their laces, Badens exclusive textured material provides the best grip under wet conditions.

5. Five-Ply Liner If your teams footballs have been used for more than about a week, your quarterback probably can feel that those footballs have expanded and will continue to expand until they resemble a rugby ball. Maintaining size and shape is the job of the internal liner, sewn just inside the cover material. In an industry-standard elongation test, Badens new proprietary liner tested 63% stronger than the liner used by the leading competitor.

6. Size Whether your quarterback is a tall pocket-passer with large hands or a shorter mobile athlete with small hands, extensive surveys indicate quarterbacks prefer a smaller football. Badens official football is made to the absolute minimum specs allowed.

7. SureGrip Stripes & Graphics Slick graphics on a football create a common problem for quarterbacks, receivers, and running backs. Badens exclusive SureGrip stripes and graphic treatment eliminate this problem by producing a specially formulated, tackified, pebbled surface that ensures a consistent, reliable grip in all playing conditions.
