Product Description

Douglas SP Mr. DZ Adult Shoulder Pads - Lineman

Positions: Offensive Linemen, Defensive Linemen

  • This flat, low-profile pad provides full, unrestricted arm mobility.
  • The "Mr. D" is constructed with built-in top redundant cushions for maximum comfort when blocking and tackling.
  • The wider neck allows a greater field of vision.
  • NFL Authorized Dealer, This Pad is used widely in the NFL
  • Air Management System:

Air Management System:
The protective padding (cushion) of the shoulder pad is made of open cell foam. Within the foam are thousands of tiny air cells. By adhering the outer fabric to the foam, a sealed environment is created trapping the air inside of the cushion. When an outside force is exerted on to the shoulder pad shell (load spreader), the force causes the shell to push on the cushion, forcing the air to move within the cells of the foam out 360 degrees, thereby lessening the blow from being felt straight in to the point of impact. There is a much wider area of dispersion, resulting in less trauma to the body.

Sizing Chart:
To size your Standard Series shoulder pad, please follow these instructions as close as possible. Using a flexible tape, measure ( in inches ) straight across the players back from shoulder tip to shoulder tip, as seen in the illustration below. DO NOT measure up and over the neck and neck muscles for your measurement. Use the corresponding size chart to arrive at the size of shoulder pad you are ordering. Shoulder Measurement in Inches. This sizing chart should be used only as a guideline. For an exact fit, always consult your Douglas professional.
